readings two

I liked these reading a lot more than last weeks, just because resumes are something everyone needs to know how to do. I liked what the article said about stating your achievements rather than your responsibilites, and that promotions are the best form of an achievement. I always put "references available upon request" in my resume and it was such a good point that it's implied. Of course you wouldn't refuse to give them references if they asked. I also thought it was interesting how the first article talked about embedding the html version into the email you send to hr, I've never thought of taking that approach or making your blogs, profiles, etc. hyperlinked so they can go directly to them. I can see how this would definitely set you apart from other candidates.
