here's my first draft of a business card, i'm thinking about adding some things to it, so if i do I'll post the new one!

to edit this first beauty i used the quick selection tool to select the two photo-bombers and that created a new layer, deleted that layer and then i clone stamped the beach and the water. Then i used hue/saturation to make the water and sky look sweet and then I turned the contrast up and used the eraser tool to make me look normal after the contrast was way up. I also blurred the weird vein that was strained in my neck. the end. oh and i cropped it. the end.

my favorite reading was the MediaShift article on branding yourself as a journalist! The google article was really interesting, I had no idea that they were collecting all that information, although I must say I'm not shocked. I like the idea of students creating their own personal course plans to become better educated in a specific field of interest. In the Journalism world of today we know that it's nearly impossible to get a solid job without published work. I think finding a specific niche and getting educated in that area, is very smart. I agree that investing in a domain name is a smart and solid investment that will last a long time, especially in the field of PR and Journalism.
